Remove the adapter card
1) Remove the screw from the top notch of the mounting bracket on the card.
NOTE: Use an electrostatic discharge (ESD) wrist strap, if available, whenever working with static-sensitive electronic equipment, such as PC cards.
2) Touch the chassis to ground any static.
3) Grasping the adapter card by its edges, remove the card by pulling straight up on it gently but firmly.
CAUTION: Avoid side-to-side movements because circuit boards crack easily.
4) Place the adapter card on a static-free surface.
